GirlFormation Camps
These camps are designed for pre-teen and teenage girls to come together as a group to discuss and work on specific issues that are commonly found in the modern day life of a young female living in America. The camps are broken down into two age groups: 11-13 year olds and 14-16 year olds. The topics of the camps will frequently change and suggestions for topics are always encouraged. Right now we are offering two different camps:
Body Image Camp:
Body Image Camp is a one day camp that allows the girls to come together and participate in specific activities that are centered on encouraging positive body image. We make this camp interesting and educational by combining writing, cognitive thinking, critical thinking, arts, crafts, design and communication. Ask about our afterschool camps and our Power School Lunch camps. Transportation not included.
Catching the Creative Wave:
Catching the Creative Wave is a one day camp that allows participants to enjoy their creative side. We will focus on innovative and fun activities that will encourage teamwork, relaxation and fun. Through fun and imaginative activities participants will learn how self esteem can be improved by participating in creative outlets. The following areas are part of this program's curriculum: yoga, photography, poetry and healthy living.
